What have you done lately that shows your still playing "the game"--even from the sidelines? We have to consider if we even want a guy that only likes us when we're calculating, re-writing, and analyzing text messages. Don't you want to be free?
Unfortunately, I've found that you can't win by playing "the game". You'll only tire yourself out. And it's true, if you're reading this blog, it means that you've committed to the sidelines. But, even I have tried to play the game from the sidelines. Just yesterday evening! I was calculating time and what I should say when I see him ... etc.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
How will being an over-analyzer help us in the long-term? It won't.
I want to be free too.
I want to be enough just the way I am.
Let's hang up our jerseys together.
Love,
Zabrinah

HEARTS!!!! Anything we dissect will die.
ReplyDeleteBut still write about it :/
I used to be an over-analyzer, but once I stopped playing the game I found that I didn't even have to do any work-- just being natural works.
ReplyDeleteLet's all hang up our jerseys :)
It's so true. I was just texting last night and then i sat down being like, "what's the point?" why wasn't I out in the world actually communicating with guys? And WHY did i have to count the minutes in between texts?
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging up my jersey, too!
love, love, LOVE. This is so simple but so true!
