I have 10 months left--including this one--to work on blogging more regularly. I look forward to approaching that goal. Really, it's a joy to write about my mistakes in hopes that you'll prevent yourselves from making the same ones. However, don't forget that with each month I blog, you must commit to improving, as well. Yes, I'm pointing a finger at you. We're all changing for the better here.
If you recall, Assignment #1 was to eliminate worry:
"If you're going to make it through romantic relationships, FAITH is what you actually need. HOPE combined with positive thoughts is what will help you survive. Worry is what will crush you.
This doesn't mean that you should never be concerned. You must be wise. Use your common sense. Seek help when you need it. But, don't waste all your good energy on worrying because for all that time you sit around dreaming up possible scenarios, you never find a reasonable conclusion/strategy of action. It's true."
Now, Assignment #2 is to ...
seek inspiration
I already admit that April wasn't my best month. I could have griped about it without action. I could have remained in a slump and let all the negative effects of infrequent blogging pile up. And yet, I'm sitting here, typing away. I wish I could chalk it all up to my amazing willpower and determination, but that's not it.
I'm blogging right now because I checked my email.
Emails from people who read this blog sum up to the greatest inspiration. They are what awakened me from my slumber.
So, who or what inspires you to rid your life of boy-crazyness? What makes you put your cellphone down? Who makes you reclaim command over your mind.
This month, I would love for you to seek inspiration for an unorthodox cause. We all have men and guys who inspire us to wait for Mr. Right. But, how many of us have a source of inspiration that redirects our thoughts away from men and guys, to more important causes?
Good luck everyone. And thanks for always sticking with me. It means more than you'd ever know.
Love,
Zabrinah
