Are you a warm body? Are you there whenever he needs you? Do you show up at his every beck and call? And where is he when you need him? Nowhere to be found.
A warm body is that girl who fulfills a Sad Puppy's (click ME) or a Manipulator's (read ME) need to be with just anyone. These types of guys are lonely souls. In a way, they are very insecure, so they use whoever they can. And it usually works for them. I've been a warm body, and you probably have too. You listened to his every woe. You gave him stellar advice. You comforted him even when he didn't need. You're a warm body. But, your role could be fulfilled by anybody.
These guys who CONSTANTLY need warm bodies have a lot of issues. Because of this, he will never be able to reciprocate! It's the truth. He won't be there for you! He won't be your warm body. Please read RECIPROCITY by clicking HERE.
Patti Stanger suggests that every four nice things a guy does for you, you do one for him. It's a tad extreme and not exactly reciprocal on his side, is it? However, this is another way to make sure you're aware. I know some girls who have gone years in a relationship without the guy ever doing something nice for her.
You shouldn't sit around and count the nice things he does for you. But you should be aware enough to know WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH OF DATING whether you are evenly matched or not.
Here are some helpful questions to remember:
1. Is he asking me questions about my life/background? If yes, it would prove that he is the dominant energy. That's what I want. It's reinforcement that he's doing the pursuing. If I'm asking all the questions, that would mean, that I'm more interested.
2. Is he genuinely interested in my answers? Or is he texting someone as I speak? Does he seem distracted or even bored?
3. Does he know how to listen? Or does he go off on a tangent about his own life? Does he interrupt me?
Those little conversational hints will let you know if you're dealing with someone needy or someone real?
